Maybe it's just me, but the blue on the bra looks like a weird strap wrapped around the bra and the blue on the skirt looks like a belt that has sagged off.

    I completely agree. It gives the appearance of a too-small bra - we all know that look - where the breasts are compacted by a tight line across the middle and then blump up over the top.
