This nude-ness is nothing compared to a costume I saw in Cairo. The memory has scarred me so much, it's hard to exactly remember what it looked like, but this woman was wearing a peacock dress, completely nude, with a strategically-placed neck and beak up top, and a tail coming out the back (which flapped up and down when she spun) with very little up front. Let's just say she wasn't wearing underwear, and she was dancing elevated on the stage....
You'd expect that in Cairo the belly dance police would get onto this. Was this an Egyptian dancer or a foreign one? I saw a video on youtube with a little bit less bad costume, also in Egypt, but it had peek holes and you could see in from the sides and no undies, yuk!
Maybe if it was on black fabric, a discernable color scheme was chosen, and that slit was fixed, then perhaps this costume would be okay.
